Speed Dating for Shelterbox
In the run-up to Valentine’s day, Rotaract Beijing and The Hutong are teaming up for a night of speed dating in the name of charity. Whether you’re looking for a last-minute Valentine or just to meet new people, speed dating is an efficient, fun and safe alternative to traditional dating. Each participant will get to have a 4-6 minute “date” with every participant of the opposite sex and afterwards you choose who receives your contact details and who doesn’t.
Proceeds will go toward Rotaract Beijing’s ongoing fundraising for Shelterbox, an organization that provides life-changing aide in the form of tents, cookers, water purifiers, and other basic needs to those who have lost everything to natural disaster or war.
