Jennifer Thomé, Founding Partner and Project Director Jennifer has been working in and on China for the past ten years. A lifelong volunteer, Jennifer has worked with many charities, both international and grassroots. In 2008, she decided to put her fluency in Chinese and web skills to use, and dedicated herself to creating the Lasso Guide to Charity in China. She is currently working as the managing editor of Agenda magazine in Beijing. |

Erin Henshaw, Project ManagerErin Henshaw has experience with national event production, grassroots development and special events. She particularly enjoys building personal relationships with businesses, donors and participants, and has personally raised over $30,000 to fund cancer research and promote awareness over the past eight years, and worked with teams to raise millions of fundraising dollars. |

Clara Ma, Founding Partner and Research Manager Fangfang Ma started her college life in a military school in one of the poorest provinces in China, Henan province. Living in this region, she became extremely interested in using her skills to improve the lives of the poor rural communities, and donated more than 3,000 tapes of her own English lessons to rural schools. On top of her work as an entrepreneur in rural education, she also actively participated in a variety of NGO research and events organized by the public policy department. Her experiences have taught her the value of charitable activity, and she has brought her passion and experience to the The Lasso Guide to Charity in China to help others get involved, and to help create internships for students who share her dream. |

Holly Kendall, Project Manager (2011) Holly arrived in Beijing in July 2011 and is hoping to use her skills to build and strengthen Lasso Guide to Charity in China. Growing up in Sydney, Australia she is aware of how lucky she is and that not everyone has had the same opportunities. Upon completing High School Holly took on her first volunteer position as an English Teacher at the Hanoi University of Technology in Vietnam. Holly went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Macquarie University, during which she developed valuable networking and political skills as an Intern for a Congressman in the United States House of Representatives. |

Jay Zhang, Research Intern (2009) The tallest of the team, Jay was a professional basketball player throughout high school years and brings his passion and energy to all of his projects, be they conducting research of The Lasso Guide to Charity in China, working at one of the biggest financial institutions in China, or traveling throughout Asia. Jay attended college in Singapore and earned his BS from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He began his charitable involvement in Singapore, where he taught English and organized activities for students of difference nationalities at the Tabernacle of Joy family center. |

Jenny Wang, Research Intern (2009) Although Jenny was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she has lived in China for half of her life. She is currently studying law in Beijing’s Renmin University, and working part-time as a model, translator, and as an intern in Chinese law firms. Jenny has always felt a strong desire to help people and to join charities, and she is using her experience at The Lasso Guide to Charity in China to broaden her knowledge of charitable organizations and their function. |
